Designed specifically for POS applications the HM518 has a host of features that regular consumer tablets don't. They include:
- Docking station with locking mechanism for stability and security.
- Physical ports on the tablet plus many more on the dock itself including Ethernet USB serial VGA and cash drawer.
- Built in hand strap mag card reader and smart card reader.
- It also has an IP54 rating and is designed to handle a 1.2m drop onto concrete.
